Password Recovery

If you forget your password you may click the Forgot your password? link at the bottom of the web mail Login page. A message will be sent to your Recovery Email Address with instructions to reset your password.

NOTE! This process will not work if you have not designated a Recovery Email Address. The option to make this designation was offered on the Location Setting screen the first time you logged into the web mail interface. The option to set this is also available in your Account settings in the User section of the web mail interface.

A Recovery Email Address must be an address that resides outside of the Central TX Mail system, such as a Gmail or Yahoo address. If you designate your local email as the recovery address and you can't access your local email (which is the whole reason you needed your password), then you'll never be able to receive the instructions.

If you cannot retrieve you password reset instructions you will need to start a Support Ticket. We will reset your password for you and inform you of the next steps to take. When completing your Support Ticket make sure to provide us an email address you can access or a telephone number.
